Easy-to-understand explanation service for difficult content
미닛 (Minut) is a Chrome add-on developed by knowease.inc that aims to make difficult content easier to understand. Whether it's complex topics in YouTube videos or challenging sections in blog posts or articles, 미닛 provides simple explanations in Korean to help users acquire various knowledge and information. The service offers two key features that make it easier for users to consume content in English and Korean.
Firstly, while watching YouTube videos, users can right-click and select the "[유튜브 보조 설명AI] (YouTube Assistive Explanation AI)" option. This initiates an analysis of the script (automatically generated subtitles) of the video, focusing on challenging topics such as science, economics, and finance. Users are then redirected to a web service that provides concise explanations of difficult terms and conclusions. They can also continue watching the video on the same page.
Secondly, when reading an article or text on the browser that contains unfamiliar terms or concepts, users can simply select the text and right-click to access additional explanations. They can choose from options such as "[금융/투자 설명AI] (Finance/Investment Explanation AI)," "[코드 설명AI] (Code Explanation AI)," or "[일반 요약 설명AI] (General Summary Explanation AI)." This action takes them to a website where the requested explanations are displayed.
